Living Arrows – 14/52 {2017}

Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows. I am loving how many people have decided to make Living Arrows a part of their blogging routine for 2017, it is so lovely to have you all here. It’s definitely one of my favourite parts of each week!

If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

This week’s photos were taken at Alton Towers at the weekend. We’ve been promising the children we would visit again since we went last April and finally got around to it. They had a blast and one of LP’s favourite things was this pipe decoration!

Little Man loved the Tree Fu Tom play area and could have stayed there all day. He is so independent now, loves just doing his own thing and brushes us off when we try and help him. He has no fear and will happily climb and slide on everything that is put in front of him.

I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week. If I thought a lot of people joined in for the first week then I was amazed at the amount that joined last week! I’m going to keep commenting on all of the posts that link up and sharing my favourite photos each week. Thanks so much for taking part and for adding to this great little community we’re creating – make sure to go and comment on a few other posts at some point during the week too.

  1. I’m so pleased you’ve had a lovely break, a great start to your Easter Holidays. I really want to take the girls to Alton Towers this year for their birthday’s. It’s hard when they are so independent to let them get on with things. Little Man is growing up so much. x

  2. It looks like the kids had a fantastic time at Alton Towers, there’s so much for them to do there now. I used to go a lot in my teens and it was all big rides and not much for the younger kids.

  3. I love the pipe photo, it’s so colourful! Sounds like a fab day out. Alton Towers is so far from us I don’t think we’ll be venturing there any time soon.
    Thanks for hosting

  4. So glad you had fun at Alton Towers. We’ve only been to the waterpark – not the actual theme park but hope we can make a trip this year. Thanks for hosting #livingarrows

  5. I’ve never been to Alton Towers before! I never really thought about it before…I didn’t know it was so child friendly.

  6. Oh I love that first photo you’ve picked from last week!

    Sounds like you had a lot of fun. I look forward to when ours are big enough to have these types of days out, it’s what being a family is all about! Not that I’m in a hurry for this precious time to pass…

    Thanks for hosting x

  7. Fab photos – those pipes are so cool. We really want to take the boys to Alton Towers but we’re weighing up whether it’s worth waiting a bit until Gabe is able to enjoy it more.
