Living Arrows – 50/52 {2020}
Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows! I love this project, I’ve been doing it for so many years now and it’s always nice seeing who links up and watching children and families grow throughout the year.
If you havenāt joined in with Living Arrows before itās is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took itās name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, āYou are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forthā and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.
Each week I share two pictures from our week ā one of each of our children ā but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week Iāll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the ownerās blogs. As a little tip, I only really feature landscape photos ā and very occasionally square photos and I’ll never feature the same blogger’s photos two weeks in a row.
So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!
Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:
This week’s photos were taken yesterday on a bowling trip. We had such a nice time and it felt pretty normal, all things considered!
Following on from my little note last week, about plans for next year, I’ve had time to think and talk to a few people and I’ve made a decision. I’ll be carrying on with Living Arrows next year – I can’t imagine stopping after seven years – but I’ll probably cut down to sharing just one photo of someone else’s each week, my absolute favourite. I’ll still comment and share each week but it will be slightly less work for me, and it will be the only linky I run from the New Year too. So, if you’d like to join in next year I’d love to have you!
I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week and seeing the photos you share. If you link up make sure to go and read some of the other posts and I’ll be commenting and sharing them through the course of the week. Thanks so much for taking part – see you again next week!
Gosh it’s been forever since we went bowling – our local alley shut when J was about 4 years old. How lovely!
Hello lovely, I’m thrilled to read your note that you will continue next year. I’ll be here with bells on and thank you for all the work your do to run this link. Thanks also for featuring my big boy this week. Your bowling alley looks so fun. Our only bowling alley is really old. The floors are warped and the balls and chipped. Our small town has lots of charm but some places could use a little update. š
We haven’t been bowling at all this year. It’s one of our favourite things to do as a family and miss going. Hopefully soon x
I bet they loved going bowling! Iām so pleased that Living Arrows is to continue, thank you! X
Thanks for sharing my picture, and I’m very glad to hear you’ve decided to carry on next year. I can’t imagine life without Living Arrows now!
