Living Arrows – 13/52 {2019}

Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows โ€“ and thanks to everyone who linked up last week. I love this project and itโ€™s so nice getting to know the families that participate in Living Arrows each week and this year it looks like a really lovely mix of old and new faces.

If you havenโ€™t joined in with Living Arrows before itโ€™s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took itโ€™s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, โ€œYou are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forthโ€ and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week โ€“ one of each of our children โ€“ but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week Iโ€™ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the ownerโ€™s blogs. As a little tip, I only really feature landscape photos โ€“ and very occasionally square photos.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:

My Everything Beautiful

This week’s photos were taken in the garden yesterday. This little guy loves nothing more than balloons. He has literally hours of fun with them – even if they’re not blown up!

We had to cancel our Mothers Day plans because LP wasn’t very well. So instead we played in the garden, had a PJ day and just spent time together. It was lovely even if not exactly the Mothers Day we’d planned.

I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week and seeing the photos you share. If you link up make sure to go and read some of the other posts and I’ll be commenting and sharing them through the course of the week. Thanks so much for taking part – see you again next week!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  1. Thank you for featuring my photo this week. I hope LP is feeling better today after a relaxing day at home. I often find deflated balloons in the kids rooms, they love filling them with air and then letting them go to hear the funny noise x

  2. My Mother’s Day seems rather similar to yours. Poor E wasn’t well so we spent the majority of the day cuddled on the couch. Hope LP feels better asap xxx

  3. Ah balloons are a joy in this house too and I can’t believe how long some last. Hope your daughter is much better now #LivingArrows
