Living Arrows – 15/52

Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows! If you haven’t joined in before, Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Our photos this week were taken yesterday. I was at work for what felt like quite a long time this week and didn’t see the children for the best part of three days in a row which is unusual for us so I crammed in as many photo taking opportunities as I could yesterday.

Little Man’s favourite gift from Christmas was his sticklebricks – I don’t think they’re called that anymore but I can’t bring myself to call them anything else. He makes himself laugh almost daily by making glasses out of them – just to match Mummy and Daddy!

LP loves nothing more at the moment than getting in from a busy day, putting her onesie on and relaxing – usually with her tablet for a while. Obviously a girl that takes after her Mummy – PJs and screentime is my kind of relaxing.

  1. Oh I used to love Stickle bricks, I will have to look out for some for our boys! He looks so happy with himself for making those. I’m just getting back to Living Arrows after a crazy few weeks, lovely to have you hosting Donna xx #livingarrows

  2. Beautiful photos. But I’m a bit disappointed that stickle bricks aren’t called that anymore. What are they called? We have an old, second hand set and the girls play with them every day.

  3. Oh we love sticklebricks although I think I got rid at the last NCT sale! Great fun photo of Little Man.

Quite a few of the photos I take of N are similarly of him on the tablet too. They do love chilling out at this age. I guess it gives them a breather from the rest of the running around all day.

  4. Thank you for featuring my picture lovely! I love LM with his glasses, Toby loves making glasses out of things (like mummy’s) at the moment too. And LP is clearly a girl after my own heart 🙂
