Climbing on Daddy {The Ordinary Moments}

There is one activity that is always sure to put a smile on the children’s faces – climbing on Daddy. Daddy tends to play this with them as soon as he gets in from work or for a while before dinner and it really is their favourite game to play.

Dave will lay on the floor and the children will climb on him, sit on him, jump on him and launch themselves over him in any way they possibly can. They’ll slide down his legs like a slide, sit on his back as if he’s a horse and jump up and down on him in glee.

I don’t know what it is with kids playing rough and tumble with their Dads but they absolutely loves it and it makes Dave laugh too. It’s the easiest game to play and really burns off some of the children’s energy before dinner, bath and bed. The sound of the children laughing throughout is infectious and I love to see them all rolling around on the floor.

Dave has tried to get the children to play sleeping lions too but they’re not quite as enthusiastic!
