Living Arrows – 25/52

The last few days have been all about Britmums but the first part of the week was all about having fun at home with the children. We got lots of jobs done, played in the garden and even harvester our first lot of strawberries for the season!

LP loved picking strawberries in the garden and really liked holding the trug and looking after all the strawberries we picked. She even said afterwards that they were delicious – better than the shop!

Little Man’s favourite thing will always be the swing and his happy face in this photo just says it all. Swings make both LP and Little Man really happy – they really are the things that childhood is made of.

    1. We have about 30 strawberry plants and we plant new ones and get rid of the old ones each year. A bit of rolling stock! We get that many every couple of days for 2-3 weeks in the summer! x

  2. Lovely photos as ever – you always catch them both looking so happy. Impressive strawberry picking too – will we be seeing some more jam making posts soon? 🙂

  3. Wow, great strawberry harvest. I tried to plant strawberry seeds for the second time…and no plants again. Next year I shall buy actual plants instead.

Love the swing photo too. Swings and strawberries, 2 of N’s favourite things
