Here’s Shahnaz with more about her blogging life:

Where did your blog name come from?

My original blog name was Be Beautiful, the more I got into blogging and writing about my family I added the mummy in front, a random name but it seams to have worked.

When did you start your blog and why?

I started my blog over 4 years ago, I wanted to share my fitness tips and recipes and before I knew it, my blog became a record of my family life.

What did you do before you blogged?

I work in early years education part-time, blogging is still very much a hobby which I really enjoy.

What was your first post?

Ooooh I think it was a post about some random health tips.

Have any of your posts not had the response that you expected?

In my early days of blogging one of my blog posts was chosen by Tots100 as a good read, I definitely wasn’t expecting that.

I always ask that question myself, especially as the boys are growing up? I defiantly intend to blog long term.

What is your favourite thing about blogging?

The amazing opportunities that we have had, especially when it comes to events, outings and movie premieres.

…and your least favourite?

The late nights, I often blog when the kids are in bed, so late nights are quite normal to keep on top of my blog.

What’s the best blog post you have ever read?

I once read a blog post about depression, it was inspirational to read and really hard hitting and honest.

What blog do you love to read and why?

I definitely don’t get time to read as much as I would like, I love reading about recipes and recipe ideas.

Do you do anything differently now to when you started blogging?

Oh most definitely, I’m a lot more focused and proof read what I’ve written.

Is blogging what you expected it to be?

I love blogging, I just wish I had more time?

We have been to Disney on Ice a few times which is great.

Are there any brands you would love to work with, why?

I would like to work with a holiday brand, that would be fab

Have you had any blogging fails so far?

I have often tapped out a post in my phone and not saved it, which is absolutely annoying.

What is your biggest blogging hope, dream or ambition?

I would eventually love to take my blog from hobby to earn regularly from my blog.

What do you do when you’re not blogging?

Working and family commitments and catching up with the chores.

and lastly, tell us all a random fact about yourself?

I have to keep a to-do list to stay on top of my chores, especially my blog posts.
