Living Arrows – 52/52 {2021}

Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows! I love this project, I’ve been doing it for so many years now and it’s always nice seeing who links up and watching children and families grow throughout the year. On that note, it’s hard to believe that it’s the last Living Arrows of the year. I’m not sure where the time has gone.

If you havenā€™t joined in with Living Arrows before itā€™s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took its name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, ā€œYou are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forthā€ and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week ā€“ one of each of our children ā€“ but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week Iā€™ll share my favourite photo from the week before, linking back to the ownerā€™s blog. As a little tip, I only really feature landscape photos ā€“ and very occasionally square photos and I’ll never feature the same blogger’s photos two weeks in a row.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Here’s my favourite photo from last week:

Team Stein

This week’s photos were taken over the course of the last week. It’s been such a lovely week, of time seeing friends and family, having days out and time at home. It’s been so nice to have time together, without the routine of the school run and to just enjoy being together, doing whatever we feel like doing.

We went to Hampton Court Palace for their light trail, had a day at a National Trust with friends, had family over and then had a few days at home for Christmas, just the four of us. It was just what we needed this year, quality time, lovely food and just appreciating the little things in life. It’s been a tough year but Christmas is always a highlight and this was no different. I can’t quite believe it’s already all over for another year.

I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week and seeing the photos you share. If you link up make sure to go and read some of the other posts and I’ll be commenting and sharing them through the course of the week. I really appreciate everyone that takes the time to be involved in Living Arrows and will be continuing next year for anyone who would like to join in. Happy New Year!
