Living Arrows – 3/52 {2017}
Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows. I am loving how many people have decided to make Living Arrows a part of their blogging routine for 2017, it is so lovely to have you all here. It’s definitely one of my favourite parts of each week!
If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.
Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.
So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!
Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:
Baking Betsy
Battle Mum
This week’s photos were taken on Saturday, when we just had a PJ day. Little Man was under the weather and had a temperature so he spent the day snuggled on the sofa, watching movies and occasionally working up enthusiasm to use his tablet for a couple of minutes before relaxing again.
LP wasn’t poorly but she’s had an exhausting week at school so appreciated a day in her PJs too. She was happy watching TV, doing some crafts and just taking some time out. Every so often we just need a day to get back to normal and get over a busy week – and that’s what Saturday was all about.
I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week. If I thought a lot of people joined in for the first week then I was amazed at the amount that joined last week! I’m going to keep commenting on all of the posts that link up and sharing my favourite photos each week. Thanks so much for taking part and for adding to this great little community we’re creating – make sure to go and comment on a few other posts at some point during the week too.

Oh poor Little Man, I hope he is ok now. You can’t beat a good PJ day, Alice was exhausted this week too from her first full week back. x
Sofa days are definitely needed every now and then to recharge batteries x
Aw sick or not pjs are often exactly what is needed at times. Hope all the bugs have disappeared now
We love a good pyjama day in this house. Nothing beats lounging around with a hot chocolate and a good movie x
Thank you for including me 🙂 I love LP hair, it’s such a beautiful colour (jealous) and so shiny!! I hope Little Man is feeling better now xx
Thanks so much for featuring my picture Donna. As soon as I saw it on my camera I knew I had to share it for the Living Arrows project. This week certainly won’t be as good. We’ve had a poorly boy over the weekend too. I’m hoping warmer weather comes soon and we can all shake off the bugs that seem to be lurking around every corner.
days in PJs are good especially with this weather! I hope you had a good weekend! #LivingArrows
Aw, hope Little Man is better now. We’ve had quite a few of those days ourselves recently and I’m SO looking forward to getting out and about this week!
Thanks for hosting x
Hope the littlest is feeling better – this time of year calls for PJ days on the sofa. Gorgeous photos xx
PJ days are the best! Rose has been under the weather again yesterday too and only just got out of bed (it’s Monday morning 11am!) Hope little man is better and LP has caught up on some rest before another busy school week x
Great choices again this week. We are very much in need of some pj days in our house and in fact are having one today as Bear is full of cold and a temp. Thanks for hosting
Hope your wee one is feeling better now! We all need pj and sofa days sometimes!
Hope Little Man’s feeling better. It’s great so many are linking up. Nice to find some new blogs.
Oh bless him, little T looks so cute. I hope he feels better. PJ days are the best and Olly gets really excited by spending the day in his! It’s a proper little treat and one we need to do far more often
Hope your wee dude is better now. It’s so hard when they are unwell. A pj day sounds good to me, sometimes these are the best xx
Hope ur little man is feeling better now
Hope they’re feeling better soon. My little one is ill too, some virus that had given her a rash. It’s horrible when they’re poorly isn’t it? #LivingArrows
PJ days are the best, hope little man is feeling better x
I hope that Little Man is feeling better now. Sometimes a nice slow pyjama day is the perfect way to spend a Saturday x
We love having PJ days. I hope he is feeling better soon xx
Sorry Little Man has been poorly, hope he’s feeling better. Oh, and lazy days are the best days… xx
You cannot beat a pyjama day, I hope this week has been easier for you #littleloves
I love your picks from last week Donna! Especially the hot chocolate one – it’s so sweet. I agree that sometimes everyone just need a down day to relax, recuperate and appreciate the house. I’m not good at PJ days, but I do love snugging in our bed reading together. Sounds like the perfect Saturday to me xx
I hope LM is feeling better now. Toby is only just starting to appreciate the pleasure of a PJ day!
