Living Arrows – 35/52

Here’s another week of Living Arrows! If you haven’t joined in before, Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Life as our Little Family

This week the photos were taken over a weekend of celebrating LP’s Birthday. She turned five yesterday and we had a soft play party to celebrate. She loved it, all of her friends came and it couldn’t have been a better day.

The night before Dave and I took the kids out for a meal to have a family Birthday dinner for LP. Little Man has an obsession with having grown up drinks – anything that’s in an open top cup with or without a straw. I think drinks like this always make him look so much more grown up!

I’m looking forward to reading your posts – thanks for taking the time to link up! This really is such a big part of my blogging week and I love that so many people stop by each week.

  1. Oh happy happy birthday LP – what a big birthday to celebrate 🙂 Her cake looks awesome! And Little Man is a big boy there drinking from a straw. Our babies are getting big! x x

  2. Happy (belated) Birthday to LP – it sounds like she had the best celebrations. LM is looking so grown up now, I know I say it all the time but how did our boys get so big?!
