Living Arrows – 45/52 {2017}

Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows. I am loving how many people have decided to make Living Arrows a part of their blogging routine for 2017, it is so lovely to have you all here.

If you havenโ€™t joined in with Living Arrows before itโ€™s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took itโ€™s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, โ€œYou are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forthโ€ and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week โ€“ one of each of our children โ€“ but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week Iโ€™ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the ownerโ€™s blogs.

Also โ€“ something new here, I will be trying to resurrect the Living Arrows Instagram account! So, use #LivingArrows on Instagram and follow @LivingArrows_ and then I will share my favourite images each week โ€“ Iโ€™ll probably try and do one a day but weโ€™ll see how I go! Iโ€™ll probably feature the previous weekโ€™s images the following week. Anyway, follow and use the hashtag and weโ€™ll see what happens!

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

This week’s photos were just taken at home. LP loves to wear hair bands and they make her look so grown up – although they have a tendency to fall down her forehead making her look like the Karate Kid or something!

Little Man loves to learn. He loves to learn about the world, about space, animals – everything. He’s like a sponge, soaking up information and his reading is coming on in leaps and bounds. School is just the best thing for him.

  1. I love LP’s headband, she does look grown-up. Daisy has just begun her obsession with hair accessories thanks to Jo Jo Bow’s ! It’s wonderful seeing how much kids enjoy learning, I find that I learn things new too thanks to them too. That globe looks awesome. Have a lovely week x

  2. They both look older to me this week. Lily likes hairbands on occasion but I wish she would wear them more often. They are cute of little girls! Thank you for featuring the photo of Lily this week. It is one of my favs. Thanks also again and again, for hosting! I LOVE LIVING ARROWS!!!

  3. LP looks gorgeous with a headband on. It really suits her. My boy is obsessed with facts and has both a globe and an atlas in his room. Him and his dad travel to different countries every night and learn something new ?

  4. LP does look grown up – I love her headband! And I’m glad to hear Troy is doing well at school and enjoying it. Toby loves learning too – but at the moment all he wants to learn about is dinosaurs!
