Activities at Home {The Ordinary Moments}

Welcome back to another week of the Ordinary Moments. If you haven’t joined in before this is a weekly linky that launches every Sunday morning and is open until midnight on the following Saturday. It’s a linky that celebrates any ordinary moments in your life – or the not so ordinary some weeks too. Basically – anything goes. I’ll be sharing and commenting on the posts that are linked up during the week and there’s a badge at the bottom of the post if you’d like to add it to yours too.

It’s safe to say that life as we know it is far from ordinary. Over the last couple of weeks I’ve been carrying on with the children’s education as best I can at home. The school have been sending work across each day and we’ve been completing it alongside fun activities and science experiments.

But, one thing the children love more than anything else is having time outside and they’ve been pretty ingenious in the outdoor activities they’ve thought to do together.

LP was learning fencing in PE at school so kitted her and Little Man out with swords and face protection so they could practice fencing for themselves. It was both amusing and lovely to watch.

The children have been missing their gymnastics lessons so Little Man worked out that he could do forward and backward rolls using a bean bag on the grass. It kept him entertained for ages!

They’ve also both been building things, creating games and just having fun in the fresh air. I have never appreciated our garden as much as I have in the last couple of weeks.

The Ordinary Moments

If you have an ordinary moment this week, come and link up – I’m looking forward to reading the moments that you share and will comment and share them on Twitter through the course of the week. Thanks so much for taking part.
