Living Arrows – 52/52 {2019}
Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows and the last of 2019. Thanks to everyone who linked up last week and who has taken part for the whole year or even just a week or two as the year has gone on. I always say how much I love this project and it’s been so nice getting to know the families that participate in Living Arrows through the year. I hope some of you decide to carry on with me in 2020.
If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.
Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs. As a little tip, I only really feature landscape photos – and very occasionally square photos.
So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!
Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:
Mudpie Fridays
This week’s photos were taken on Saturday on a visit to Windsor Castle. Since then both the children have been pretty poorly and we spent yesterday on the sofa in pyjamas. We’ve cancelled most of this week’s plans and it’s really not how we expected to end the year!
I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week, the final week of 2019’s Living Arrows! If you link up make sure to go and read some of the other posts and I’ll be commenting and sharing them through the course of the week. Thanks so much for taking part – see you again next week for the start of a shiny new year!
Thanks for choosing my picture. I hope you had a lovely Christmas and the children get better soon x
I love seeing how much the children all grow over the year! I’m looking forward to taking part again in 2020!
I’m sorry to hear that your little ones haven’t been feeling too well. I hope they get better for the new year x
Thanks for hosting the linky this year, I have really enjoyed being a part of it all. I look forward to further #LivingArrows in 2020!
Thanks for featuring my big boy this week. Your children looked like they had fun at Windsor Castle. I’m so sorry your year ended this way but I think everyone is now feeling a bit better (I love following along with your stories and posts on IG). Looking forward to another year of Living Arrows. Thanks for all you do Donna and for your weekly comments. As I’ve said before, you are inspiring always.
I do hope they recovered in time to enjoy your lovely break away. Happy New Year to you all x
We love Windsor Castle, a brilliant day out! I hope you’ve had a lovely couple of weeks x
