Living Arrows – 45/52

This week has been a pretty average week, full of work and sorting bits and bobs at home, nothing too exciting at all! But I make sure that even on the average days at home that the children and I do something with at least part of the day – go shopping, run some errands, go to the park or soft play. There are always jobs that need doing around the house but I can’t spend all day at home with the children, we are all happier when we’ve been out for a while.

But when we get home, and don’t have any other plans, we relax. The children often have lunch in the lounge and watch a bit of TV at the same time. This photo of LP is a pretty standard pose of hers at lunchtime – completely engrossed in Mickey Mouse and eating all the filling out of her sandwich before eating the bread. I have no idea why we even make it into a sandwich!

Little Man will have a nap whenever we get home and after that he will have his own relaxing time. Dressing gown, milk and a movie. He always takes a while to wake up properly after his nap and so he loves this cosy time and it’s nice for all of us to have a little bit of down time in the afternoon.

This coming week I am actually only working one day and I’m not back again after that until 21st November. This for me will feel like a huge break although it’s only using two days annual leave and I am planning on spending it having some quality time with the kids, a very welcome break from routine.

  1. Ooh, lucky you getting some time off work! I’m so looking forward to Christmas now and some time at home just doing nothing much at all. LP and LM are looking as cute as ever this week – love LMs dressing gown!

  2. N does the same with sandwiches as well. As for fajitas. No chance of them actually being a wrap.

Lovely photos of them both, doing quite everyday things
