Living Arrows – 44/52

Here we are again – another week of Living Arrows! If you haven’t joined in before, Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

The Simple Things

This week’s photos were just taken at home. LP had a Halloween party on Saturday and doesn’t like Halloween fancy dress or face paint so she wore her pumpkin dress and asked for cat ears to wear too. She couldn’t have been happier with them!

Little Man’s photo was taken on just your average half term afternoon… using pillows as stepping stones to make it across the room. Him and LP were pretty much flying from one side of the room to the other and it was pretty good fun – with only a few pillows needed. Hours of entertainment!

As always, I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week – thanks for taking the time to link up! This really is such a big part of my blogging week and I love that so many people stop by each week.

  1. Oh LOVE LP’s cat ears – she’s super cute! Ha ha I love the pillow stepping stones too – forget expensive toys, pillows are the way forward! x x

  2. I love the pillow jumping photo! I can see how that would be entertaining. My littles love my aunties patterned carpet for a similar reason, but the pillows look like a much better place to land if you fall! My littles have been taking their pillows downstairs all week, I think even at their age the colder weather is making them want to snuggle up. Thank you for featuring our photo 🙂 xx

  3. N’s the same. Not keen on fancy dress, so I’m lucky to get him in a hat. This year we’ve not even had a reason to dress up so that’s a relief. Love the featured images.
