Living Arrows – 32/53 {2018}

Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows. I loved seeing everyone link up last week – and cannot wait to see the children grow through 2018.

If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

This week has been a weird one for us – as the children were in a summer camp Monday to Friday. It was so strange to have so much time without them but they had a great time, made new friends and came home happy and exhausted every day.

They have both been amazing all weekend. We had two busy days – doing lots of activities in Swindon and then going to Thorpe Park yesterday. But, they loved it and can’t wait to see what adventures this week takes us on.

I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week. If you link up make sure to go and read some of the other posts and I’ll be commenting and sharing them through the course of the week. Thanks so much for taking part!

  2. It sounds like they have had a busy but fun week. Keeping kids occupied in the holidays is so hard, especially when you still have to work so a club like that sounds brilliant. Have a great week x

  3. Glad to hear they had a good week – Toby is going to a summer camp for a couple of days in the last week of the holidays, I hope he has as much fun. LP looks so grown up in those sunglasses 🙂

  4. The summer camp is a great idea, I think a bit of structure to the day helps in the holidays.

    Athena looks super grown up in that picture x
