Living Arrows – 23/53 {2018}
Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows. I loved seeing everyone link up last week – and cannot wait to see the children grow through 2018.
If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.
Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.
So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!
Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:

This week’s photos were taken on the beach on Saturday morning. It wasn’t perfect beach weather as the fog rolled in just after we parked up, but the children had fun anyway. Little Man has had a bit of a memorable hair cut – where it isn’t as it usually is and instead it’s pretty wonky but, it suits his quirky personality so we are just letting it grow out.
LP has been difficult recently. She has an amazing personality but, over recent weeks, this has been overshadowed by mood swings and emotions. But, on Saturday we saw our old LP back again and it was so nice. I think a slower pace and simple days do her the world of good.
I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week. If you link up make sure to go and read some of the other posts and I’ll be commenting and sharing them through the course of the week. Thanks so much for taking part!

We’ve got beach photos too! I didn’t recognise little man he looks so much older, even with a wonky haircut x
So sorry to hear LP had been difficult recently but glad Saturday was better for you. Lovely photos this week, thanks for hosting!
Little Man’s haircut looks cute non the less, he looks very happy on the beach even if the sun isn’t shining. LP looks happy too, Daisy can often be moody and grumpy but thankfully it’s fleeting. I blame the hormones ! Have a great week ahead x
Good to hear you had her back! sometimes, they do have mood swings but she looks so happy in this pic #livingarrows
I’m not looking forward to mood swings! glad they’re settled down for now. Love a beach trip.
They look so happy and im loving the wonky fringe – do they even have a childhood if theres not at least one wonky fringe.
Seriously, when did Little Man get so grown up!? Loving the wonky haircut though. And it’s lovely that LP seems to be feeling herself again now. #LivingArrows
What happy smiley faces! Love the sandy hands photo! #livingarrows
LM looks pretty happy with his haircut! Hope LP has been back to her normal self this week, it’s really hard when they go through a tricky stage isn’t it. Thanks for featuring my picture of Nerys this week too! x
Glad LP is back to her usual self – we’ve had this with E too. I put it down to tiredness and hormones.
