Living Arrows – 17/52 {2017}
Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows. I am loving how many people have decided to make Living Arrows a part of their blogging routine for 2017, it is so lovely to have you all here. It’s definitely one of my favourite parts of each week!
If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.
Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.
So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!
Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:
Rachel Swirl
Emily and Indiana
This week’s photos I actually already shared in my Little Loves post on Friday but I love them so much I’m sharing them for Living Arrows too. LP has always loved dressing up and at the moment her favourite costume is Bob the Builder – I love how she sees no stereotypes when she plays and is as happy being Bob as being a princess.
Little Man hasn’t been far from his headphones this week. He has just rediscovered them and found, for the first time, the joy of actually wearing them properly.
I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week. If I thought a lot of people joined in for the first week then I was amazed at the amount that joined last week! I’m going to keep commenting on all of the posts that link up and sharing my favourite photos each week. Thanks so much for taking part and for adding to this great little community we’re creating – make sure to go and comment on a few other posts at some point during the week too.

Look how happy LP looks. Holly loves Bob the Builder and has his hat, but it looks like LP is wearing a full costume, I will have to get it for Holly she would love it. Little man looks so sweet with them on x
Thank you for featuring my picture, it’s one of my favourites too! Aww what a fab Bob the Builder LP makes.. who says dressing up clothes have to have a certain gender 🙂 xx
Monkey was VERY impressed with the stormtrooper headphones! LP looks gorgeous in her Bob the Builder outfit. I love how they don’t care about the stereotypical girls and boys stuff. Monkey went to the last dressing up day at ballet as Thomas the Tank Engine!
I love that she doesn’t let stereotypes hold her back, and how cute does Little Man look wit his concentrating face?!
LP looks so happy in that picture and the look of concentration on Little Man’s face. Lovely pictures of them both.
Aww look how happy LP is, adorable. Little man looks so sweet with the headphones on x
Gorgeous pictures – LP hair is just beautiful!
Lovely photo choices. I really should get N some headphones – he loves wearing mine although they’re in ear ones.
I love the pic of LP as Bob the Builder. Too cute and I like how she doesn’t care about cartoon’s gender stereotypes 🙂
Love the Bob the builder costume. I wish Blake would wear headphones like little man as he hates anything on his head. #livingarrows
Love seeing gender stereotypes broken down! I recently took Pixie to Tesco wearing her Minions onesie and she was referred to as ‘sir’! *rolls eyes*
Thanks for hosting! X
Bless little man – look at the concentration on his face! Love LP dressed as a builder – she is rocking it! Both my older two love Bob the Builder Xx
I love both of your photo’s Donna. Sorry i’ve been rubbish with commenting over the last couple of weeks but I’m hoping to be back on it from now on x
