Living Arrows – 6/52 {2019}
Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows – and thanks to everyone who linked up last week. I love this project and it’s so nice getting to know the families that participate in Living Arrows each week and this year it looks like a really lovely mix of old and new faces.
If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.
Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs. As a little tip, I only really feature landscape photos – and very occasionally square photos.
So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!
Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:
My Everything Beautiful
It feels like we didn’t see these two a huge amount this weekend as they spent a good chunk of it with their grandparents whilst Dave and I had a night away – which was lovely. LP found my old Eeyore in her room – the cuddly toy that used to be strapped into the back of my first car, a purple Ka, and that kept me company on road trips long before these two came along.
Little Man is looking so grown up at the moment. His hair has grown a bit, he’s full of cuddles and he’s counting down to his birthday – despite it being three months away! But, he’s going to be six. How did my youngest child get so big?
I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week and seeing the photos you share. If you link up make sure to go and read some of the other posts and I’ll be commenting and sharing them through the course of the week. Thanks so much for taking part – see you again next week!
Six already? WHAT! Where is the time going?? Also, those are some lovely photos from last week that you have selected.
Ah that’s so cute LP has your Eeyore. Alice has a couple of my old teddies and it’s so strange when I see her with them, but so lovely too x
Thanks for featuring my picture 🙂
I can’t believe I started reading your blog when LM and Toby were babies – how are they going to be 6 this year?!
Isn’t there something special when they play with your old things? I have an old bagpuss that used to sit on my first car dashboard and my son plays with it all the time, I love it! Hope you had a lovely time away x
They don’t stay babies for long do they, time seems to fly even faster when you are a parent I think. How lovely that Eeyore can now keep LP company just like it did you.
So lovely to see your little ones cuddling – just adorable Donna 🙂
That photo of LP is so cute and you’re right LM is looking very grown up with his new haircut!
I really cant believe we are on 6 already! where is that time gone. Thank you so much Donna for featuring our photo. xx
Awww growing up is bitter sweet right? My eldest has declared that turning 4 now means she is an adult! #LivingArrows
