Living Arrows – 27/52
This week has been all about my return to work and preparing for that. I had my first day back on Friday, followed by another working day on Saturday, again today and tomorrow. I’ve definitely been thrown in at the deep end but as I’ve taken a downgrade to do a job I used to do, six or so years ago, it’s a job I was good at and can do pretty well. If I’m honest, working is easier than being at home, less demanding but I would prefer to be at home. I want to spend as much time with the children as possible and being in an office whilst the sun is shining outside just makes me feel like I’d rather be at the park, in the garden or anywhere with LP and LM. So, working is fine, I have to do it and I’ll get used to it!
This week’s photos are of LP playing in the garden, in her Little Tikes Police Car. Childhood has to have a Little Tikes car in it!
Little Man with messy hair. Watching TV after dinner, just relaxing and passing the time. Looking far too grown up and growing far too quickly.
LM is looking such a proper little boy these days! I’m glad going back to work hasn’t been too awful!
Oh what beautiful piccys! My girl has a similar hat in pink but the blue is so lovely. How is work? Is it ok? I quite enjoyed going back the second time as you start to feel a little bit normal don’t you? My two days in work are A LOT easier than the three with the tiny tots! That’s for sure! xxx
Work’s fine 🙂 I can do the job, there’s less stress now I’m not a manager. It’s all good really 🙂 x

Congratulations on your return to work. Mummies everywhere will be envious of your uninterrupted lunch breaks, consumption of a hot coffee (whilst it is still hot) and a toilet break with privacy 🙂
