Living Arrows – 44/52

This week has been a very average week in our house. Three days at work for me and six days at work for Dave. In between that we ran errands, had a couple of play dates, pottered in the house, did odd jobs that had been waiting patiently to be done and played as much as we could. We also went off to Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth for shopping and dinner after I finished work on Saturday – Just a couple of hours squeezed in between my work and Dave’s night shift – we have to grab family time where we can now!

This isn’t the best photo of Little Man this week as he’d just woken up, but I love how grown up he looks, his messy hair and concentrating face. He was wearing a ‘Little Dude’ onesie and looked just so cute!

LP has spent as much time as she can in the kitchen with me this week and each time has insisted on wearing her hat and apron. She always chooses a chair to stand on and helps me weigh everything. She was proud of herself this week as I let her beat eggs for the first time – I was proud of her too as it all stayed in the bowl! LP’s enjoyed having a more relaxed week this week without the early mornings and school but she’s now at the point where she’s looking forward to getting back into it again.
