Living Arrows – 50/52

Here we are again – another week of Living Arrows! If you haven’t joined in before, Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:

Hot Pink Wellingtons

Dogwooddays

Baby Holiday

This week’s photos were taken yesterday. We’ve had a week where the children have both been full of colds and we’ve just been waiting for the weekend. With Dave on nights when Saturday finally came we decided to just stay at home in our PJs… and did exactly the same on Sunday too. It was just what we needed.

LP has been especially poorly. Lethargic, grouchy and not herself. She was happy to just relax all weekend and took her self to bed frequently. I think her favourite bit of the weekend was lots of cuddles – with me, Daddy or a soft toy!

I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week – thanks for taking the time to link up! This really is such a big part of my blogging week and I love that so many people stop by each week.

  1. Oh no! Hope the kids are feeling better now. We have all been sick too 🙁 I love LP’s photo. I know she was feeling poorly but she looks so serene and beautiful! Also love Baby Holiday photo. Gorgeous capture of light x
