Living Arrows – 40/52 {2017}

Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows. I am loving how many people have decided to make Living Arrows a part of their blogging routine for 2017, it is so lovely to have you all here.

If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, â€śYou are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

Also – something new here, I will be trying to resurrect the Living Arrows Instagram account! So, use #LivingArrows on Instagram and follow @LivingArrows_ and then I will share my favourite images each week – I’ll probably try and do one a day but we’ll see how I go! I’ll probably feature the previous week’s images the following week. Anyway, follow and use the hashtag and we’ll see what happens!

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:

Hodge Podge Days

The Queen of Collage

Somewhere After The Rainbow

This week’s photos were taken yesterday and just make me laugh. The children are pretty much addicted to fruit at the moment and I put the fruit bowl in front of them whilst they were watching TV – and this was what resulted… I love the faces they make whilst eating.

  1. Those faces are brilliant! My little one gets an upset tummy whenever she eats fruit so it’s out of the question for her. It’s nice to see little ones loving fruit though! X

  2. I have to admit when I saw LP’s photo to begin with I thought it was a Jaffa Cake! Mine is a bit hit and miss with fruit at the moment – she much prefers raw vegetables x

  3. Ah thank you so much for picking my photo of my eldest as one of your faves. My daughters also love their fruit so I’ll have to take notice of their reactions too in the future. Thanks for hosting #LivingArrows

  4. What fantastic photo’s ! their little faces look so comical. It’s great when kids enjoy eating fruit, my two are really picky but Daisy would happily finish off a whole punnet of strawberries. Have a great week Donna x

  5. They’re great pictures. I like watching children discover new tastes as the faces they make are funny. I know it’s not quite the story with LP or Little Man but these pictures reminded me of those times! #livingarrows
