Living Arrows – 23/52
I hope you have all had a lovely half term. Here we are with another week of Living Arrows! If you haven’t joined in before, Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.
Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.
So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!
Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:
Hello Beautiful Bear
Sarah Rooftops
Bubbablue and Me
This week’s photos were taken on holiday in the Isle of Wight last week. Little Man always walks around with his hands in his pockets now, thinking it makes him a big boy – and I have to agree it makes him look so grown up. In this photo he’s trying to see himself in the camera lens.
LP’s photo this week sums up our holiday for me. The children had the best holiday and on our last day LP got a medal for being a ‘super helper’ and helping the entertainment team. She couldn’t have been prouder and we couldn’t have been prouder of her. Her happiness was topped off with that medal!
I’m looking forward to reading all your posts and seeing all your photos of childhood this week. Thanks for reading – and linking up!

Little Man is looking more grown up, its funny the things they do! Well done LP, I bet she didn’t want to take her medal off. Thanks for hosting x
She would have if she was allowed! It’s permanently attached to her! x
Well done LP for her medal. That kind of thing does make you proud. Sigh to the hands in pockets. Thankfully N’s got through that phase. Thanks for hosting and featuring my photo.
thanks for hosting, what a fabulous collection too.
Ah, thanks so much for including my photo!
I’m glad you had a lovely holiday – sounds like it was more successful than Butlins 😉 I love that picture of LM, and his banana coat!
Lovely featured photos as always 🙂 So cool that LP got a medal for being super helper. A proud mummy moment for sure! Your little man sure is looking very grown up now and I love his photo. Hope you had a fab holiday and thanks for hosting x
I love that photo of LM and his coat is really cute! And how lovely to receive a medal for being helpful, that’s such a nice thing. No wonder she was proud. I hope you had a lovely holiday x
Gosh he does look grown up in that photo, I love his jacket. That’s so nice that she got a medal, I bet you were proud x
It really does sound like you had an amazing holiday, and you must have been so proud of LP getting a medal! What an absolute gem she is! xx
