Living Arrows – 4/52 {2020}
Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows! I love this project, I’ve been doing it for so many years now and it’s always nice seeing who links up and watching children and families grow throughout the year.
If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.
Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs. As a little tip, I only really feature landscape photos – and very occasionally square photos and I’ll never feature the same blogger’s photos two weeks in a row.
So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!
Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:
Mudpie Fridays
This week’s photos were taken over the weekend at home. We had such a nice but quiet weekend and it was just what we needed. Dave and I had the chance to catch up with jobs, the children relaxed and we watched so many movies. It was lovely.
I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week and seeing the photos you share. If you link up make sure to go and read some of the other posts and I’ll be commenting and sharing them through the course of the week. Thanks so much for taking part – see you again next week!
I love that kind of weekend, we’re having one this weekend and I can’t wait! Have a great week x
I love a good movie weekend – we watched ‘The Queen’s Corgi’ yesterday – it was actually pretty good! Lovely pictures too xxx
LOVE your photos this week and the idea of staying home all weekend and watching movies. Both my kids have activities on the weekend so staying home doesn’t work til holidays. I feel as though LP and my Lily are very similar characters and would like get along very well even though there is a big age gap between them. I believe I have many photos of Lily at around the same age just like the one you have posted here of LP. If only we didn’t live so far apart, I’d love for them to meet and for me to meet you too.
I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned before but my older brother is Canadian – well, dual Nationality, British Canadian. He’s been going to Canada every year for about ten years now and each time he says we should come too! One day we’ll make the trip and I’d love to try and make our paths cross at that point x
Aww thank you for featuring my picture. Mudpie friday family pics are always amazing, so a great privilege to have my boy featuring alongside.
I do love your picture of Troy, I do love candid shots, you really get to see their personalities bursting out.
LP is looking so grown up, I think it’s the long hair! Quiet weekends are so needed sometimes aren’t they? #LivingArrows
I can’t believe how much the kids have grown in 2019! I’m aiming to take part in more linkies this year – hopefully, I’ll stick to it!
I do enjoy a quiet home weekend without other interruptions! Hope Troy is feeling better now? #livingarrows
I love weekends like this and we definitely been doing the same and making the most of these quieter months. x
Your two always look so content when you share pictures of them at home – I love how they always seem to be so happy with all the activities they do at home 🙂
