Living Arrows – 22/52 {2017}

Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows. I am loving how many people have decided to make Living Arrows a part of their blogging routine for 2017, it is so lovely to have you all here. It’s definitely one of my favourite parts of each week!

If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:

The Less Refined Mind

Life at Cooks Cabin

White Camellias

This week’s photos were taken at the children’s grandparents’ house after school during the week. I love this photo of Little Man – he’d had his arm put in a cast the day before and he was halfway through trying to eat his dinner one handed and having his Daddy spoon feed him some of it. He was being so cute and so lovely and he just looks so grown up. I love the look on his face.

LP’s is just another portrait. She loves wearing her summer dresses to school and has hair bobbles to match. We are all so much happier in the summer months and she usually has this happy smiley look on her face from when we pick her up through to bed time. She has to wear a sun hat to school too and this one is her current favourite – although it’s far too big for her!

I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week. If I thought a lot of people joined in for the first week then I was amazed at the amount that joined last week! I’m going to keep commenting on all of the posts that link up and sharing my favourite photos each week. Thanks so much for taking part and for adding to this great little community we’re creating – make sure to go and comment on a few other posts at some point during the week too.

  2. Thanks for featuring mine, some lovely shots there. I love that photo of LP – such vibrant colours! it’s amazing just how much children suit bold colours isn’t it? Why does that change when we get older? Poor Little Man with his cast, hope he’s doing okay x

  3. I’m glad your little man is still smiling despite his poorly arm. That’s a lovely photo of LP, how lovely is her yellow school dress definitely appropriate for the lovely weather we’ve had. Hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend x

  4. You’ve got to tell me your trick, Amy has never in her entire life kept a hat on – unless it’s a German winter and we’ve got -17 degrees 😀 x

  5. Bless your little man, I can remember being a child and always wanting to wear a cast on my arm and being so jealous of those who got to have one!! ?
