Spray oil
8sausages halved
1onion
1tbsppaprika
3clovesof garlic
pinchof dried chilli flakes
a good sprinkle of dried rosemary
2celery sticksfinely chopped
3peppersdeseeded and finely chopped
200gred lentilsrinsed
450mlchicken stock
Instructions
Spray a large pan with oil and brown the sausages. Add to the slow cooker pot.
Spray the pay again with oil, add the onion and cook for a couple of minutes. Add the paprika, garlic, chilli flakes and rosemary as well as the celery and peppers. Cook for 5 minutes.
Stir in the lentils, add the stock and bring to the boil. Add everything to the slow cooker on top of the sausages.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
Serve with crusty bread or toasted pitta.
