I love a good crumble but they’re traditionally a bit of a winter pudding so when Sunburst got in contact to introduce us to their nectarines I thought a Nectarine Crumble recipe would be a great summer alternative to my winter favourites.

Ingredients
400gnectarines
1tspvanilla extract
80gplain flour
50gbutter
75gcaster sugar
15gdemerara sugar
25gporridge oats
25gchopped nuts
Instructions
Preheat the oven at 200C/400F/Gas 6
Stone and slice the nectarines and mix them in a bowl with 50g of the caster sugar, vanilla and 1 tbsp of the plain flour.
In a food processor mix the rest of the flour and the butter until it resembles breadcrumbs. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix.
Put the nectarine mix into an ovenproof dish and top with the crumble mixture. Bake for 25 mins or until golden brown on top.
Serve with custard, clotted cream or ice cream.
