Mincemeat Crumble Slice Recipe

I love an easy traybake and this easy mincemeat crumble slice is a delicious, slice and serve mincemeat traybake that everyone will love over the festive season and way into the new year.

Ingredients

  • 1 shortcrust pastry sheet
  • 200 g mincemeat
  • 70 g self raising flour
  • 50 g butter at room temperature
  • 30 g caster sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4
  • Grease or line a deep baking tray or oven dish with baking paper or baking parchment before lining with pastry.
  • Spread the mincemeat over the pastry base.
  • Rub the butter flour and sugar together in a large mixing bowl until it resembles breadcrumbs.
  • Sprinkle over the top of the mincemeat in an even layer.
  • Bake in the centre of the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Leave to cool, slice and serve.
