Mars Bar Tray Bake Recipe

- 250 g Mars Bars – roughly 5 bars chopped into bite size pieces
- 90 g unsalted butter
- 115 g Rice Krispies
- 300 g milk chocolate can be bars or chocolate chips
Line a brownie pan or square baking dish with baking paper
Put the Mars Bar pieces and butter in a saucepan and melt over a low heat until well combined. Stir regularly.
The nougat pieces don’t melt fully so don’t worry if the final mix is slightly lumpy!
Remove from the heat and stir in the Rice Krispies until well coated
Pour the Mars Bar mixture into the prepared tin and press down with the back of a spoon, making sure the rice crispy cereal covers the whole dish.
Melt the milk chocolate in a glass bowl over a pan of boiling water.
When fully melted, pour the melted chocolate over the rice crispies and spread to form a nice even layer.
Put in the fridge to set for at least four hours but preferably overnight.
Remove from the fridge and leave to reach room temperature before cutting into squares. Enjoy!
