Living Arrows – 24/52
I hope you have all had a lovely week. Here we are with another week of Living Arrows! If you haven’t joined in before, Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.
Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.
So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!
Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:
Mummy and Monkeys
Baking Betsy
Odd Socks and Lollipops
This week’s photos were taken in the garden. It really is the simple things with LP and Little Man and one of their favourite things is playing on the swings. I love LP’s face in this photo. She is such a character at the moment, so full of personality and just so funny. This photo has captured all of that perfectly.
Little Man had his hair cut last week and looks just so grown up! Every time he has a hair cut he looses that last bit of baby-ness, until it grows again – and he’s my baby all over again! He loves swings like nothing else.
I’m looking forward to reading all your posts and seeing all your photos of childhood this week. Thanks for reading – and linking up!

You can’t beat a good swing! These are great shots, their personalities shining through. Thanks for hosting lovely x
Your two get cuter ever my day! LP’s face there is a classic! Thanks for hosting lady x x
What great photos. That laughing one of LP is brilliant.
Loving your photo choices too – that swing fairground one is brilliant, think I spotted that one on IG as well.
It’s just an entry level Canon – 1200D, looking to upgrade soon x
What awesome photos! Athena looks like she’s having so much fun 🙂 Toby really isn’t convinced that a swing his fun – he likes them but only swinging really slowly!
Lovely photos from all. I know what you mean about the haircuts – why do they always look more baby when their hair grows?! Letting our Little M grow his out right now for same reason! x
MY kids both still enjoy the swings. Cute photos
My kids both still enjoy the swings. We all do actually. Cute photos or your cuties!
Great photos. You are totally right, LP’s photo is amazing. My kids both love the swings problem is once they are on it there is no way to get them out… x
I love her little face, absolutely adorable! I still love a good swing now. Thanks so much for featuring one of my photos x
