Living Arrows – 12/52 {2021}
Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows! I love this project, I’ve been doing it for so many years now and it’s always nice seeing who links up and watching children and families grow throughout the year.
If you havenβt joined in with Living Arrows before itβs is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took its name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, βYou are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forthβ and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.
Each week I share two pictures from our week β one of each of our children β but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week Iβll share my favourite photo from the week before, linking back to the ownerβs blog. As a little tip, I only really feature landscape photos β and very occasionally square photos and I’ll never feature the same blogger’s photos two weeks in a row.
So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!
Here’s my favourite photo from last week:
This week’s photos were taken at the park at the weekend. During the week I’ve taken to walking each day. I either run errands or explore green spaces locally I haven’t been to before. Last week I went to this park which, when I last walked to it when LP was a baby, was just a muddy field. I was so happy to discover a really nice play park had been built.
So at the weekend we took the kids for a scoot and to play in the park. They loved exploring somewhere new close to home and it was a really nice way to spend a morning too. I think it’ll turn into a regular place for us to visit now.
I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week and seeing the photos you share. If you link up make sure to go and read some of the other posts and I’ll be commenting and sharing them through the course of the week. Thanks so much for taking part – see you again next week!
They look like they had a ball! Such smiley photos! Have a lovely week. x
I love it when you discover new local surprises. In the first lockdown we found 2 new parks on the housing estate next to where we live- I’ve lived in my town 33 years and had no idea they existed! There’s a great app called playground buddy that maps all the parks across the country, I use it when we go on holiday to find parks near to where we’re staying.

I do so love your photos – the park looks lovely! Our local park is in the process of being updated and I can’t wait to take the kids once it’s finished though I’m hoping it won’t be too busy (sadly that’s unlikely). Hope all is well with you π
Thank you for featuring my photo π Lovely to discover a new playground xx
I love following your morning walks on your stories, trying to work out if I can work out where you are as you wander with your coffee on the patch I used to work in! Here’s to brighter days and more walks and days in parks.
Itβs always good to find a new park – all the ones near us are rubbish!
I love the idea of taking a walk, by yourself every day. That looks like a fab park, it’s always exciting to find somewhere new to play!
I have also started walking on my own everyday. I really need to get healthier again! X
