This Slow Cooker Poor Man's Cassoulet is one of our favourite recipes and the children love it too - Who knew that sausages, pulses and bacon could taste so good?! It's also incredibly easy to double up and make more of!

Spray oil
2onionschopped
2garlic cloveschopped
2rashers of streaky baconchopped,
8sausages
400gtin of pulses - haricot or black eyed beans are favourites here but you can use anything.
150mlbeef stock
Instructions
Spray a large pan with oil and cook the onions for a couple of minutes. Add the garlic, bacon and sausages until browned.
Transfer everything to the slow cooker pot. Add the beans and stock.
Cook on low for 6 hours.
Serve with crusty bread or mashed potatoes
