Ingredients

  • 100 g milk chocolate – bars or chocolate chips
  • 200 g white chocolate – bars or chocolate chips
  • 1.5 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 2 candy canes crushed
  • festive sprinkles

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Break the chocolate into separate microwave safe bowls, one milk, one white and add peppermint essence to each bowl – 0.5 tsp with the milk chocolate and 1tsp with the white chocolate
  • Melt the chocolate either in the microwave at 20 second intervals or using a bain marie, a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water
  • Spread the white chocolate onto the baking paper, pour the milk chocolate over the top and use a skewer to mix the two chocolates together, leaving a marble effect
  • Scatter the crushed candy cane pieces and sprinkles over the chocolate
