Banana Snack Bars

I decided to make some snack bars to have on the walk to work or on the school run.

Ingredients

  • 50 g light brown sugar
  • 50 g maple syrup
  • 100 g margarine
  • 100 g plain flour
  • 60 g Weetabix Approx 3
  • 60 g porridge oats
  • 1 medium egg
  • 40 g cranberries
  • 25 g pumpkin seeds
  • 2 bananas

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven 180C/350F/Gas 4. Grease a baking tin
  • Heat the sugar, margarine and maple syrup until melted and combined.
  • Mash the bananas and egg together.
  • Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Add the banana mixture and stir well.
  • Stir in the syrup mixture.
  • Spread evenly into the baking tin and bake for 25 minutes until browned.
