If, like me, you love gifts and treats that are personalised and a little bit different whilst still keeping their traditional charm then you will love everything from Zac and Lily.
Zac and Lily sent us their Christmas Eve Kit to try out in advance of Christmas and the minute it arrived I loved it. Who wouldn’t love a recycled cardboard box tied beautifully with ribbon and addressed directly to the children? The box was beautiful so I couldn’t wait to see what was inside.
What is in the Christmas Eve Kit?
Inside the box everything was so well packaged and it included Reindeer Food, Cookie Mix, Hot Chocolate Mix and a card to colour for Santa. The set has everything you need to make your Christmas Eve a magical one – and prepare for Santa’s arrival!
Last year we used Reindeer Food for the first time and it was just wonderful seeing the children sprinkling glittery oats outside for the reindeer. It really adds to the magic of Christmas and the reindeer food in this set is a really generous size – more than enough for two or even three children to sprinkle merrily!
The cookie kit is so easy to make with full instructions. All you need to add is butter and an egg. You then mix everything together and bake. The cookies turn out slightly chewy, a great size and very, very moreish! There’s enough dough to make ten cookies – so plenty for the family with a couple left over for Santa to have with a glass of milk!
The children love having hot chocolate and having it on Christmas Eve, at home, complete with marshmallows is definitely a real treat. The hot chocolate mix in the set comes in two jars which stack on top of each other and look just like a snowman – a super cute touch!
Dave was in charge of making the hot chocolate and it turned out wonderfully. Again this was enough for 2-3 child size cups or one good sized adult drink. The hot chocolate was thick and chocolatey and the marshmallows were a lovely extra too.
Lastly, the card to colour for santa is something I haven’t seen anywhere before. Most children love to leave a note for Santa so this is something really lovely for children to spend time doing on Christmas Eve.
The whole Christmas Eve Kit is a beautiful product. It would make a lovely gift for any family this year or something to buy as a treat for your own children. At just £12.50 I think it’s really great value and something the whole family will love.
The Christmas Eve Kit has an RRP of £12.50
