Quiche Lorraine
Today I’m sharing one of my favourite quiche recipes, a classic, Quiche Lorraine recipe.

- 500 g shortcrust pastry or a ready made savoury pastry case
- spray oil
- 4 smoked bacon rashers
- 1 onion chopped
- 4 garlic cloves chopped
- 3 eggs
- 250 g creme fraiche
- 130 g cheese grated
- 2 ham slices chopped
Preheat the oven to 200C/Gas 6.
Line a tart tin with the pastry and put in the fridge to chill before lining with baking paper, filling with baking beads and bake for 20 minutes. Leave to cool slightly. Reduce the oven temp to 180C/Gas 4.
Chop the bacon. Spray a frying pan with oil, add the bacon and cook for a couple of minutes before adding the onion and garlic. Cook for a few minutes until browned. Leave to cool before spreading in the base of the pastry case.
Mix the eggs, creme fraiche and cheese. Pour into the pastry case.
Top the quiche mixture with the chopped ham and bake in the oven for 35 minutes or until golden on top.
