Our Fruity Nutty Banana Muffins are our latest creation that really do tick every box and the whole family love them – plus, they use up our old bananas too!

  • 100 g butter
  • 175 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 120 g dried fruit
  • 50 g nuts chopped
  • 3 bananas preferably overripe
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 300 g plain flour
  • 2 tsps baking powder


  • Preheat oven 180C/350F/Gas 4 and line muffins trays with muffin cases
  • Cream the butter and sugar before adding the rest of the ingredients and mixing well
  • Divide the mixture between the muffin cases
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until nicely risen and browned on the top
