Cadbury Chocolate Cake with Mini Eggs
This Chocolate loaf cake, topped with chocolate frosting and Mini Eggs, is such a simple but delicious bake that the whole family will love. A simple but lovely Easter treat.

- 180 g unsalted butter at room temperature
- 180 g caster sugar
- 3 eggs
- 200 g self raising flour
- 40 g cocoa powder
- 100 g chocolate chips
To decorate
- Chocolate frosting
- 100 g Mini Eggs crushed slightly
Preheat oven at 160C/300F/Gas 2
Cream together the butter and caster sugar in a mixing bowl
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well
Pour the batter into a lined/greased loaf tin and bake in the middle of the oven for 50 minutes until brown on the top and a skewer comes out clean. Leave to cool completely on a wire rack.
Once cool, top with the frosting and Mini Eggs and serve.
