Marmalade and Apple Tart Recipe

This is a really lovely apple tart variation that can be enjoyed at any time of the year.

Ingredients

  • Ready made sweet pastry case
  • 900 g eating apples
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 200 g marmalade

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6
  • Peel, core and chop the apples.
  • Add to a saucepan with the sugar and cook for approx 30 minutes until they have broken down.
  • Heat the marmalade.
  • Pour the apple mixture into a pastry case and pour the marmalade on top.
  • Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
