Slow Cooker Mustard Chicken and Bacon recipe
This is one of our favourite slow cooker meals. Slow Cooker Mustard Chicken and Bacon recipe creates a winning flavour combination and works so well just served with creamy mashed potatoes.

- Spray oil
- 8 chicken pieces skinned
- 4 rashers of smoked bacon chopped
- 2 leeks thinly sliced and white/green kept separate
- 2 tablespoons plain flour
- 600 ml chicken stock
- 3 teaspoons wholegrain mustard
Spray a large frying pan with oil and cook the chicken pieces until browned. Add to the slow cooker pot.
Fry the bacon and white leeks until browned, mix in the flour and add the stock gradually. Stir in the mustard.
Add to the slow cooker pot and cook for 7.5 hours on low.
Add the green leeks and cook on low for a further 30 mins.
Serve with mash.
