- 2 eggs
- 200 g margarine or unsalted butter at room temperature
- 80 g golden caster sugar
- 100 g golden syrup
- 200 g self raising flour
Preheat oven 180C/350F/Gas 4
Line a muffin tin with paper cases
Put all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix until well combined
Spoon the cake batter mixture evenly between the paper cases
Bake in the centre of the oven for 15 minutes until golden brown and nicely risen
Leave to cool on a wire rack
