Easy Bread and Butter Pudding with Jam
This bread and butter pudding with jam is such an easy but satisfying dessert, perfect for after a Sunday lunch. Using just brioche, ready made custard and jam it could not be easier to make.

250 g sliced brioche loaf croissants, individual brioche etc 200 g jam 400 g ready made custard
Pre heat oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6
Put a layer of brioche in the bottom of an ovenproof dish or roasting tin
Spread over a generous spoonful of jam and then add another layer of brioche, repeating until the dish is full.
Pour over the custard into a jug and add 100ml water. Mix well and then pour slowly over the brioche until it has all been soaked up.
Put the baking dish in the oven and bake for 30 minutes or until nicely browned.
Serve warm and enjoy.
