Little Man may well be the number one Thomas the Tank Engine fan and at two years old he sleeps with two Thomas toys, asks to watch retro Thomas on the TV and always reads Thomas books before bed. He is Thomas crazy! So when Worlds Apart sent us their Thomas My First ReadyBed to review Little Man couldn’t have been any more excited.
What were our first impressions of My First ReadyBed?
The Thomas My First ReadyBed comes complete with a pump and built in storage bag as well as removable, machine washable bedding – the perfect all in one solution for sleepovers, camping, weekends away and pretty much any other time you need a portable bed.
How easy was the My First ReadyBed to set up?
I was impressed at how easy the bed was to inflate as it comes with the inflatable section inside the bedding. The pump fits the bed perfectly and the foot pump is easy to use, inflating the bed in a matter of minutes. Once inflated you just need to rearrange the cover slightly around the built in headboard and it’s ready to use.
How big is the My First ReadyBed?
The ReadyBed is a really great size, fitting Little Man well but still having a lot of room for when he grows. The built in bedding stays attached to the bed but can be kicked back if the child’s too hot so they can sleep with their legs on top of the covers. The ReadyBed also gives a really cushioned surface to sleep on and the covers are just the right thickness to keep Little Man warm but not too hot.
Little Man loves the ReadyBed and I love how snug he looks in it, with no fear of him falling out either – which isn’t really a problem as it’s so close to the floor! The Ready Bed has a storage pocket in the side too which Little Man loves to fill with all his favourite things.
Worlds Apart do a great range of Ready Beds in lots of different character options and a few that aren’t character based too so there would be one to suit every child. There are even a range of adult ReadyBeds that look fantastic for camping or having guests to stay.
The My First Thomas Ready Bed has an RRP of £24.99 and can be purchased from Argos.
