Planning a Weekend with Royal Caribbean #AnthemoftheSeas

Last October I was lucky enough to spend a day on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas when it was docked in Southampton. It was my first experience of a cruise ship and it was so different to anything I had imagined – a great experience that left me with an urge to try a cruise as a family.

Well this weekend we are doing just that! Royal Caribbean have invited us on to their newest cruise ship Anthem of the Seas for it’s pre-inaugural two night cruise. The children, Hubby and I are incredibly excited to be having our first cruise holiday experience together and the children get to use their shiny new passports for the first time.

The next few days are being filled with packing – how much can I fit into our ‘just hand luggage’ brief! I have a feeling there will be more bloggy tech – laptop, camera, tripod – than clothing!

We board the ship on Saturday morning and we’re planning to cram in as much as possible in the two days and nights we’re on board. Anthem of the Seas looks like it has so much to offer – I’ll tell you all about it when we get back!

If you want to see what we’re getting up to over the weekend then keep tabs on the #AnthemoftheSeas hashtag on social media – it’s going to be busy!

Wow, can’t wait to see it. I’d love to try a cruise although the OH would never do on, and I’m probably keener on the getting out and about at port than the boat part. But the Royal Caribbean ones do look amazing.
