Updating LP’s Room with a Tidy Books Bunk Bed Buddy

Over the last month or so we have been updating LPs bedroom. The building work meant that we had to plaster her room, and paint it again – leading to a big sort out, new carpet and a whole new space for LP.

When we were rearranging the room we looked for furniture and accessories that could last a long time, grow with LP and be really functional as well as looking nice in her room. We were sent a Tidy Books Bunk Bed Buddy for LP to use next to her bed and it couldn’t have been any more perfect for her.

LP loves to read in bed but she also loves to have her most precious things close to hand. She has a favourite toy that changes regularly, a special drinks bottle for bed time and other little trinkets that she loves to have a place for. The Bunk Bed Buddy let her keep all these things right next to her bed, where she could reach them easily at the end of the day or when she wakes in the morning.

The Tidy Books Bunk Bed Buddy means that LP no longer sleeps with books under her pillow, putting them there for safe keeping until morning. Instead she has a shelf to keep them on, regularly changing the books for new ones and enjoying reading one or two each night before she goes to sleep.

It also keeps her drink close by and it has meant, with her room rearranged, that LP doesn’t need a bedside table and instead we can use that precious floor space for playing instead.

Although originally aimed at children in bunk beds the Bunk Bed Buddy is perfect for us and perfect for LP’s room and her bedtime routine. It’s her space to store whatever she likes and I know as she grows that the contents of her Bunk Bed Buddy will change too. It could have jewellery in it, make up, perfume and an alarm clock. The latest teen novel, a money box, a treasured cuddly toy, ornaments and even – one day – a mobile phone. I am sure that Bunk Buddy will be a fixture in LP’s room for years and I know it will be used so much – that place to keep all those things that she can’t bare to be away from for long.

LP loves her new Bunk Bed Buddy and I’m sure it would go perfectly in many children’s rooms – whether they have a bunk bed or not. It also comes in a range of colours to suit any room and personality.

The Tidy Books Bunk Bed Buddy has an RRP of £59.00

I love the colour of room now, Alice will be jealous she loves pink! What a great idea, this is perfect to have by the bed. Alice often falls asleep with books under her bed and would love a special place for all her precious bits. Since moving house at Christmas I’m sorting the girls room out, this is going on the wish list x

This is lovely Donna. Libby has a shelf on her bunk bed but she’d love something like this for the wall instead, it’s a bit more practical.

Her room looks lovely, it’s come together so well! And this little bookshelf would be perfect for Rhys now he’s up on the top bunk, he ends up with a big pile of books under his pillow every night at the moment! x
