Have you ever visited a baby change facility and thought that it could do with improvement? Or on the other hand have you ever visited one and thought that it was the perfect place to tend to your baby’s needs? Well Sudocrem have announced their Care & Protect Baby Changing Room Awards and want you to vote for your favourite places to change your baby.
The places you vote for could be the biggest, the newest, the nicest smelling or have complimentary nappies and wipes available. Whatever your reason for appreciating that specific changing room, Sudocrem would like to know about it. The awards are backed by TV presenter Katy Hill, and Sudocrem are inviting you to nominate your favourite baby changing room – where it is and why. Everyone who nominates will be entered in a prize draw to win one of several prizes, including a short break at Knoll House (Britain’s original family friendly hotel!).
To enter, all you have to do is visit Sudocrem’s Social Hub and cast your vote. I know that in the last three years I have visited some pretty fantastic baby changing rooms and also some awful ones – I have even chosen to change my baby on the floor outside some! I’m hoping that Sudocrem’s awards will make those sort of changing facilities take note – The baby change bar needs to be higher and Sudocrem awards will show exactly what parents’ expectations are when looking for somewhere to change their baby.
Shopping with a baby can be stressful and according to a recent survey by Sudocrem 50% of new mums avoid shopping because of poor changing and feeding facilities. Lack of adequate facilities could account for the 68% of Mums who now purchase more goods online than offline, and result in women feeling isolated in the first 12 months after giving birth. These are statistics I can definitely relate to and I know that I’ll be nominating my favourite changing facilities for a Sudocrem Care & Protect Baby Changing Room Award!
