The iconic Snowman now has a canine companion and no Christmas would be complete without The Snowdog! This year, Penguin Random House has worked with Wild in Art to create two public art trails in Brighton and Newcastle and we are holding a very special The Snowman and The Snowdog Blog Tour too!
To celebrate the trails, and to kick off our stage of the blog tour, LP and Little Man were sent a Paint Your Own Snowdog from Wild in Art which they have loved decorating!
LP and Little Man love anything creative but we don’t often paint at home so this was so exciting for them. They loved working together to design and decorate their Snowdog and I know he will have pride of place in our home for years to come.
We’ve also been getting our bake on with a The Snowman and The Snowdog Chocolate Muffin Kit. The children love baking kits like this and they’re just so simple – usually just needing an egg or milk and everything else is supplied. The Snowman and The Snowdog are perfect for this time of year and baking really is such a great dreary day activity to get your spirits up.
But, our baking didn’t just stop there. We also used a The Snowman and The Snowdog Gingerbread Biscuit Kit to make seasonal biscuits which the children loved. The children are used to cake making kits but making biscuits was completely different and such a novelty.
We were also sent some of Thornton’s beautiful range of The Snowman and The Snowdog products. Anyone would love The Snowman and The Snowdog advent calendars and chocolate figures – the perfect addition to a Christmas stocking or just a winter treat.
But, if you’re looking for something to really brighten up a winter morning, take a look at this The Snowman and The Snowdog Snowglobe which I’m tempted to have on the side all year round. It’s the perfect addition to our home but would also make a wonderful gift.
For more great The Snowman and The Snowdog products and to see more Snowdog creativeness, make sure you pop over to In The Playroom tomorrow for the next instalment in the blog tour. Thanks also to Mary at Over 40 and Mum to One for yesterday’s post!
Disclosure: We were sent the above products for the purpose of this review however all opinions are my own.
