Anyone who knows me well will know that my teeth have been the bane of my life. They are the one, and only, thing I would change about myself if money wasn’t an issue. As well as my mouth being overcrowded with teeth, I also have issues with the enamel on my teeth where it stains really easily and the stains won’t budget regardless of the toothpaste I use. The only thing that gets rid of the stains is visits to the hygienist at the dentist.
So when I was offered the Rapid White Pro Clean and Polish System to review, which works alongside your existing dental hygiene routine, I couldn’t wait to try it. I hoped it would make my teeth whiter, remove the stains and make me feel better about my teeth overall.

The Rapid White Pro Clean and Polish System looks quite like an electric toothbrush, with a charging station, two different heads and little tubs of polish paste. It’s easy to set up and use, just needing to be charged before the first use.

Once charged, you can add the cleaning head to the hand unit, turn it on and then add paste to the head. It’s the really easy to clean your teeth using the Rapid White Pro Clean and Polish System. I did find that with the cleaning head on the brush moves really quickly and, with two speed options, the higher speed was too fierce for my teeth but the lower speed worked well.

You use the cleaning brush around your gum line and where the teeth meet to clean away plaque and stains. Afterwards you can use the polishing head to whiten and polish the teeth. I made a little video of my experience – although I called the heads the wrong thing as the instructions weren’t very clear but now, having used it a few times, I know to use the brush head first and the other one afterwards.
The Rapid White Pro Clean and Polish System works really well and each time I’ve used it I’ve felt that my teeth are a lot cleaner, whiter and stain free than with brushing alone. The instructions say you can use the Rapid White Pro Clean and Polish System a couple of times a week but really I wouldn’t like to use it more than every couple of weeks due to the more invasive nature of it than just brushing my teeth – although you don’t use it between your teeth it does still disturb your gums and I wouldn’t want to do that too much.
But, the Rapid White Pro Clean and Polish System has given my teeth a lift and has left my teeth with that dentist clean feeling and definitely gives them the help they need in between hygienist visits. I’m really impressed with the Rapid White Pro Clean and Polish System and know that I’ll be using it regularly in the future.
The set comes with four polish paste tubs and more can be purchased for £10 for eight tubs. I think this is pretty affordable and a lot cheaper than going to the hygienist more regularly!

The Rapid White Pro Clean and Polish System has an RRP of £65.00 and can be purchased from Boots. Here’s a little YouTube video I made that you can watch – or watch later if you like.

Love the video Donna! It looks like a great idea, much easier than going to the hygienist for a clean and polish.

Can we use this for just brushing? I dont want to polish it to often but brush with it twice a week.
Donna Wishart says
Yes, you can just use the brush head and not the polishing one but it’s not a replacement for a standard electric toothbrush.

I was really curious about this as it sounds just like what they use at the hygienist’s. If it means not going to the hygienist, it’s a bargain really as a visit is £50 for us! I don’t think I would use it more than ever 3 months or so as the abrasive paste / brush would definitely weaken your enamel. I also have teeth that get stained easily and my enamel is duller than most people. When I spoke to my dentist about it, he said never to have my teeth whitened (sniff) or use a whitening toothpaste (more abrasive than regular toothpaste). Loved your video, you’re a natural!

Ah thanks Mel! I agree, I think just using it when you need it rather than all the time would be the best option! x

I am actually really tempted to get one of these. My teeth are looking really yellow these days – I was seriously considering getting them whitened at the dentist but if this system works it would definitely be a lot cheaper, and by the sounds of it it would be easier to maintain myself too.
