Little Man has always loved vehicles – cars, trains, boats – anything that moves, he loves. So when the Melissa and Doug Transporter Lorry from Magic Fairy Wings arrived to review Little Man was just so excited! A giant vehicle that carries little vehicles – it was his idea of vehicle heaven!
The Transporter Lorry is made completely of wood and is really solid and well made. It comes with four cars which are all painted a lovely bright colour that matches the red of the transporter lorry.
Little Man loved that he cold fold and unfold the back of the transporter lorry, making the cars drive up and down the ramp before making the whole transporter lorry drive around the room with it’s car cargo safely on board.
The cab of the lorry has a wooden figure sitting inside and Little Man loved that there was an actual driver sitting inside – where most of his other vehicles have empty seats and he has to imagine someone driving them.
The detail on the transporter lorry is fantastic – with hubcaps drawn on the wheels, hinges on the doors and even headlights drawn on the front. So much thought has gone into the transporter lorry toy and it would make a wonderful gift for any child. Little Man absolutely loves his new toy and it sits in pride of place in his room – it looks lovely when not being played with and I love that the cars can be stored on the car transporter too.

I think all boys, old and young love vehicles of any description and wooden ones are so much better than plastic, I once had a wooden fire engine in my child minding toy box which all the children, both male and female loved to play with
